Want to show your support of Traveling Players Ensemble? Make an impact? Get involved? Here are some simple and fun ways you can help TPE:
1) Send an announcement to your neighborhood listserv about TPE's scholarships and ensemble openings. Word of mouth is the most effective way of bringing in new people to our community. (Here is a template.)
2) Organize a fundraising event with some friends--a bake sale, a book sale, a car wash, or a service raffle.
3) Tell five of your friends about TPE. See if they can join us this summer. We still have one space in every program (except high school actors for first session).
4) Invite friends--adults and children from your student's community--to attend our summer performances.
5) Donate a service, such as: catering, printing, or space for an event.
6) Buy TPE merchandise. We have great fleeces, t-shirts, and Nalgenes, all with the TPE logo!
7) Write an article about your TPE experience for your local paper or a relevant blog.
8) Share your news with us. It helps us throughout the year to demonstrate the impact of a TPE education. You can download and return this document.
9) Host a reunion for campers anytime during the year.
10) Volunteer to help out at our festivals this summer. Many hands make light work! Contact volunteer@travelingplayers.org.
