Just like the original King’s Men represented Shakespeare by making his words come to life, our King’s Men (8th-12th graders) act as student ambassadors for Traveling Players. They are leaders amongst the Traveling Players community and work intentionally to form it. They help to foster the values of kindness and inclusivity that we hold dear amongst their peers and the younger generation of students. As leaders, they create opportunities for community bonding, assist with Traveling Players’ events, and help represent the intelligent, kind, and passionate student body of Traveling Players.

Responsibilites (include, but not limited to):

  • Organize & run community-wide revels between rehearsals
  • Organize Secret Buddies across casts & ensembles
  • Support all Traveling Players Studio performances
  • Represent the Student Body and talk to prospective students at Open Houses
  • Volunteer for Traveling Players’ community events & strikes
  • Run a Student TikTok representing the company
  • Create, organize, & plan community events/bonding experiences (i.e. Karaoke & Movie Nights)
  • Attend Biweekly Meetings
