Join TPE campers and staff on a field trip to see plays at local theatres or on our annual trip to the Maryland Renaissance Festival!

We offer field trips throughout the year. Ride in a purple bus (or meet us at the venue). Yes, parents can sign up for field trips as well!

Traveling Players Ensemble’s expert faculty is available for school residencies! Bring TPE into your school with workshops and classes for either students or as professional development workshops for teachers.

Traveling Players Ensemble is a nonprofit educational theatre company in the Washington, DC area, dedicated to bringing great theatre into the great outdoors through an innovative summer camp and year-round acting classes and workshops.

Traveling Players Ensemble’s summer acting camps serve the DMV area, including Northern Virginia/NoVA (McLean, Alexandria, Arlington, Centreville, Springfield, Tysons, Falls Church, Great Falls, Ashburn, Lowes Island, Sterling, Herndon, Reston, Chantilly, Vienna, and Oakton), Maryland (Chevy Chase, Takoma Park, Silver Spring, Kensington, and Bethesda), and Washington DC.
