Casey (he/him) has choreographed fights for Traveling Players since 2006. He has served as fight director for more than 200 academic and professional productions, including the Folger Theatre, Signature Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Rorschach Theatre, Studio 2ndStage, and National Players. His work at universities includes American, Catholic, Gallaudet, and North Carolina School for the Arts. Casey has served on the faculty of Rapier Wit Studios in Toronto and the Paddy Crean Workshop as well as numerous regional workshops in the U.S. He is a company member with Rorschach Theatre, affiliated teaching artist with the Shakespeare Theatre Company, and regular presenter at the Folger Library. A Certified Fight Director with the Society of American Fight Directors, Casey has been a guest instructor for Fight Directors Canada and Nordic Stagefight Society. Holding a doctorate in theatre history, he has taught at the University of Maryland, College Park, Old Dominion University, and George Mason University. He now teaches at the University of Maryland, Baltimore Country.
